SURGICAL FEES
For patient safety, Dr. Calvillo performs surgeries in a hospital. She is credentialled at Beth Israel Lahey Health Winchester Hospital and MetroWest Medical Center. Surgeries include excisional breast biopsy, nipple duct excisions, lumpectomy (partial mastectomy), mastectomy, sentinel node biopsy and axillary lymph node dissection.
The costs associated with surgery and hospitalization are covered by your insurance as outlined by your coverage plan, including anesthesia, pathology, radiology, and reconstructive surgery after mastectomy.
The costs are submitted to your insurance company by the hospital on your behalf. The fee not covered by your insurance for which patients assume responsibility is Dr. Calvillo’s surgical fee. If surgery is part of your treatment plan, we offer transparent reporting of surgical fees in advance of any procedure, with surgical fees starting at $2000. Payments may be made using a major credit card, health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA), check or cash. Payments are due at the time of service or surgical booking.
